Frequently Asked Questions – The Learning Room

The Learning Room is a flexible, multi-format learning system designed to help neurodivergent children build essential life skills through guided, immersive experiences. It is available in three formats:

  • A web-based version (Everywhere Edition)
  • A physical, AR-powered projection setup (Immersive Cubicle)
  • A calming, VR-led experience (Ground Space)

Each version uses research-backed scenarios and storytelling to help children practise real-life routines. The content is designed to support calm repetition, skill-building, and emotional readiness. Guided experiences walk learners through practical steps in everyday situations such as toilet use, home safety, or communication.

  • Everywhere Edition: A web-based version accessible via modern browsers across devices. It is best experienced on laptops, iPads, or tablets. No installation or special equipment is required, making it ideal for home or hybrid use.

  • Immersive Cubicle: A three-wall projection room equipped with AR and directional audio for deep, headset-free immersion.
Minimum setup area:10 x 10 x 10 ft with white, unobstructed walls. Designed for therapy centres, schools, and clinics.

  • Ground Space: A movement-based, VR-compatible environment where children engage in calming routines and body-awareness games that support motor skills, balance, and regulation.

Current and upcoming modules focus on a wide range of functional life skills including toilet training, self-care routines, bathing, menstrual hygiene, brushing teeth, taking turns, home safety, and early emotional regulation.

Each learner progresses at their own pace through built-in scenario structures and guided visuals. At present, difficulty levels are fixed per module, but future updates will include adaptive progression and profile-based personalisation.
